Ingredients:
- Red onion
- Lime
- Red chilli powder
- Papadoms
- Chickpeas (we swear by boldbeanco)
- NALO Masala Nuts
- Yogurt
- Tamarind sauce
- Mint chutney
- Tomatoes (finely chopped)
- Cucumber (finely chopped)
- Pomegranate seeds
- Fresh coriander
- Chaat masala
Directions:
- Pickle your onions
Finely chop the red onion and season with salt, lime juice and red chilli powder. Set aside in a jar to pickle while you prep the rest. - Prep the base
Lightly crush a few papadoms into a bowl to create a crunchy base. - Layer it up
Add:
- Your favourite chickpeas (we’re loyal to boldbeanco)
- A generous handful of NALO Masala Nuts
- Pickled onions
- A dollop of yoghurt
- Tamarind sauce
- Mint chutney
- Finely chopped tomatoes & cucumber
- Pomegranate seeds
- Fresh coriander leaves
4. Finish strong
Sprinkle with chaat masala and give everything a really good mix.
